The font Thing

You can easily download "the font thing" online for free. It is a very small program, you will need to download it and unzip it.

When you first run the program there is a file called setup.exe (in Vista the exe will be hidden if you hover over the files you will see which one has the .exe extension.) When you choose the setup.exe file it will automatically begin to load the program for you and find all of the files you currently have installed.

(HINT: if you are using Windows Vista, make sure that you right click on the icon and choose "run as administrator" whenever you run the program in the future.)

When you open the font thing this is the first screen you will see. It will bring up your currently installed fonts and show you a preview of them. I will show you how to navigate around this screen and to play with more options.
