Spent money today...

Our local scrapbook store which has been here for 10 years is going out of business. The owner who is a wonderful person says the economy just doesn't justify leaving this branch of the store open. Her partner still has a store open about 5 hours from here and they will be able to sell the items through that store but this one just isn't making enough on its own. I was sad to go in and say goodbye and of course with 25% off everything in the store, and I had a $20 free for purchases in the past, I ended up spending lots of money, hehe. Thought I'd show some of the stuff I got.

They had the coolest 12 x 12 clear stamps so I got 2 of them, at least on Christmas "blissful season" (of course!) and the other "from the garden" of course...hehe. Check out these pics I found online, not sure how good they will show up....

I also got a spatula that is used for the cricut to get things off the page but I am sure I can find a much better use for it...its by provo craft, will also show a picture of that. PLUS a very large acrylic stamp block. Needed that for the huge size of the 12 x 12 stamps. I really need to get alcohol stamps now to play with these things hehe.
All in all not too bad of a purchase, I tend to make myself not spend $$$ because I let most of my stuff just sit but who can pass up a sale?
I got to see the coolest mini album the s/b store owner made for her daughters wedding. I hadn't seen one like it before. It was simply 12 x 12 papers folded in half with two holes and a cord across the middle. They also used slide holders for small pictures (about 2 in x 2 in) and it was just the coolest thing. Wish I had my camera to show!
